Creating timeless outdoor spaces, from concept to completion.
At Landart, landscapes are designed and built as integrated extensions of the home. With over 25 years of experience, our in-house teams of landscape architects, horticulturalists, builders and craftspeople collaborate to deliver gardens that balance creativity, functionality and longevity.
We take care of every detail, from concept design through to construction and maintenance. Sustainability is central to our approach, with site-specific planting, water-sensitive design and seasonal planning embedded into every project. This means you work with one trusted team throughout the journey, ensuring clarity, transparency and excellence at every stage.
Consultation
We begin with a detailed consultation on site, exploring your goals, style preferences and lifestyle. This stage allows us to prepare a tailored brief and recommend a pathway forward.
Concept Design
Our designers prepare detailed concept plans supported by mood imagery and, where useful, 3D perspectives. You’ll gain a clear sense of how your garden will look and function, as well as a transparent preliminary cost estimate.
3D Virtual Tours
For clients wishing to immerse themselves in the design, we offer 3D visualisations that allow you to experience the garden before construction begins.
Approvals
Where a Development Application (DA) or Complying Development Certificate (CDC) is required, our team manages the documentation and submission, with extensive experience in challenging sites and approvals.
Construction Documentation
Detailed drawings and specifications ensure every feature—from retaining walls to outdoor kitchens and pools—is delivered to Australian standards and with precision.
Construction
Our builders and landscapers work hand in hand with the design team to ensure the finished result reflects the original vision. We coordinate trades, manage the schedule, and uphold the highest standards of workmanship throughout.
Landart was named The Landscaper of the Year for both Residential Construction and Residential Maintenance at the 2024 TLA Industry Awards. Projects such as The Oak Project, Headland House and House Upon the Hill demonstrate the creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail that define our work.
If you are planning a landscape project in Sydney or the Northern Rivers, our team can guide you from first concept through to the finished garden. Contact us today to book your consultation.
How long does the design and construction process take?
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the project. A concept plan may take a few weeks, while full design, approvals and construction can extend over several months. We provide a tailored program at the outset.
Do you provide both design and construction, or can I choose one?
We provide both, with the option to engage us for design only. However, most clients choose our integrated service, which ensures continuity from concept through to construction and maintenance.
What types of properties do you work on?
We work on a wide range of properties, from compact courtyards and rooftop gardens to large estates. Every project is approached with the same focus on detail and quality.
What areas do you service?
Our landscape design and construction services are available throughout Sydney, including the Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs, as well as in the Northern Rivers region around Byron Bay.
Do you offer maintenance after construction?
Yes. Once your project is complete, our horticultural maintenance team can provide ongoing care programs tailored to your garden, keeping it flourishing year-round.
Do you handle council approvals?
Yes. Our team prepares and lodges all required approvals, including DA and CDC submissions, and coordinates with councils and consultants to ensure compliance.
