The Landart team attended the annual TLA (The Landscape Association) Industry Awards, and we are thrilled to share our success, which reflects our passion and dedication to creating high-quality landscapes. Landart was named ‘The Landscaper of the Year’ for both Residential Construction and Residential Maintenance—an achievement that truly underscores the excellence of our work on The Oak Project. This recognition speaks to our commitment to quality, skilled craftsmanship, and attention to detail in every project we undertake.

Landscaper of the Year – Residential Construction
This garden design reworked the proportions to align more closely with the size of the property, creating a harmonious balance. The judges praised it as an exceptional project, noting: “The thoughtfulness and delicate approach around existing trees and buildings shows it’s done with precision. The many skills involved in this project also show great workmanship and detailing with exceptional finishes.”
Landscaper of the Year – Residential Maintenance
The maintenance aspect of The Oak Project was also recognised, highlighying our commitment to keeping landscapes thriving long after they are built. The maintenance program includes fortnightly gardening visits, trimming hedges, trees, and shrubs, as well as weeding, fertilising, and mowing. The judges commended the detailed, site-specific maintenance program, which demonstrated effective use of contracted time, offering excellent value for the client.
Gold Award – Residential Design Over 500m2
This award further acknowledges the excellence of The Oak Project, celebrating the design’s elegance and functionality for a large-scale landscape.
Best in Category Residential Construction – $450K – $700K
This project transformed the property to perfectly complement its scale, enhancing the overall harmony and beauty of the outdoor space. The judges noted the project’s precision and attention to detail, which exemplifies our bespoke garden design services.
The House Upon the Hill: Award-Winning Residential Construction and Maintenance
The House Upon the Hill was also a standout, earning recognition in both construction and maintenance:
Best in Category Residential Construction – Over $700K
This project revitalised the exterior of a large home, creating a more organic and natural aesthetic that integrates seamlessly with the surroundings. The scope of work included creating an outdoor kitchen and alfresco area, refurbishing the pool, and developing a space within the pool zone for play, relaxation, and entertaining. The judges commended the high standard of hardscaping and plantings, as well as the protection of larger trees. This award underscores our expertise in residential landscape construction, where we collaborated closely with the client to deliver a visually stunning and highly functional landscape.
Silver Award – Residential Maintenance Up to 750m2
The maintenance of The House Upon The Hill was recognised for its excellence, highlighting our ability to maintain high standards of care, ensuring every aspect of the landscape continues to thrive.
Headland House: Residential Design Excellence
In the category of Residential Design – 200m2 to 500m2, Headland House was awarded Gold, reflecting our creative and meticulous approach to mid-sized landscapes, ensuring they deliver beauty, functionality, and value for our clients.
Apprentice of the Year: Dominic Spillane
We would also like to give a special mention to our apprentice, Dominic Spillane, who was awarded Apprentice of the Year. Dominic has shown dedication, skill, and enthusiasm throughout his apprenticeship, and we are proud to see his hard work recognised. His contribution to projects and eagerness to learn have been invaluable to the team.
